MOUNTAINSIDE, New Jersey USA (March 8, 2006) –- In an effort to serve clients that have an increasingly national scope, Verrex Corporation, a leading audiovisual, videoconference and sound systems integrator, today announced expansion into the Southeast USA and the opening of a new, full-service office in Tampa, Florida.
The office, which will be staffed by professionals with more than 60 years of combined experience, positions Verrex to meet the needs of clients with operations in the growing Southeastern region.
"As a client-driven organization, Verrex goes where our clients need us to go," said
Bill Baretz, Verrex Executive Vice President. "We recognize that our clients demand much more than a local sales contact. In line with that, we chose to open a full-service office staffed by professionals experienced in design, engineering and project management to give new and existing clients our full breadth of capabilities."
Verrex is responding to a trend that has more national companies seeking AV technology suppliers equipped to work closely with branch locations as they build out their capabilities. "Having successfully completed many projects in the Southeast, we are very excited about planting permanent roots there," said Verrex President,
Thomas Berry, Jr., CTS.
Responsibility to continue Verrex’s client-centric approach at the new office will initially fall to three experienced AV industry professionals.
Ed Rodriguez, CTS-D, who has more than 20 years of AV industry experience, will head the new Tampa group and hold the title of Southeast Executive Director. Prior to joining Verrex, Mr. Rodriguez held senior design, engineering and management positions at Audio Visual Innovations, the Whitlock Group and Southern Business Communications.
