Executive Boardroom Diageo, the world’s leading premium drinks business, relocated to new US-based headquarters in Norwalk, CT and required the latest in AV technology throughout the facility. Diageo selected Verrex to provide complete AV systems integration, along with multi-year service and support, for the 300,000 square foot corporate site.

CHALLENGES
In a period of only ten weeks, Diageo required Verrex to integrate and turn over 25 medium and large conference rooms, three videoconferencing rooms, executive boardroom, four divisible multipurpose rooms, cafeteria, building-wide media distribution system and digital signage.

Cafe SOLUTION
Aggressive design coordination allowed Verrex to begin equipment procurement, shop fabrication and field contractor coordination immediately. Working in concert with on-site trades and bringing in a union installation group, Verrex was able to complete the installation on a floor-by- floor basis prior to the client moving in.

At project’s end, Diageo entered into a multi-year service agreement with Verrex to provide the corporate site with priority emergency response, stand-by assistance and equipment replacement.

37", 42", 50" and 61" plasma displays, LCD and DLP projectors, rear projection screen system, videoconferencing systems, matrix switchers, routing switchers, computer-video interfaces, pan/tilt/zoom video cameras, audio matrix mixers, amplifiers, ceiling loudspeakers, control systems and 6" and 12" wireless touchpanels.
