MetLife, the financial and insurance services leader and Fortune 50 company, looked to their long-standing audiovisual integrator, Verrex, to assist in bringing their newly opened Tampa facility in line with the company’s ambitious AV vision for presentation technology.
CHALLENGES
MetLife required meeting/conference room spaces that could morph into multiple rooms on a dime, AV capabilities that were almost exact replicas of those in other MetLife facilities and an integrator that could be all but invisible as it tackled installation work amid ongoing office operations.
SOLUTION
Coordinating closely with MetLife’s in-house AV staff, Verrex succeeded in helping design a technology solution that met the company’s requirement for a consistent AV system template, including two divisible meeting room spaces, 14 conference rooms, two interactive computer training rooms, cafeteria and an AV-enhanced fitness center.

42" plasma displays, 46" and 20" LCD displays, LCD projectors, motorized projection screens, videoconferencing system, matrix switchers, computer-video interfaces, pan/tilt/zoom video cameras, Minicom Classnet Computer Classroom System, audio matrix mixers, wireless microphone systems, amplifiers, ceiling loudspeakers, Cardio Theater Wireless Entertainment System, control systems and 6" wireless touchpanels.
