The 36-story State Street building, located in downtown Boston’s financial district, was one of the most complex projects ever completed by Verrex. Within 12 months, the world’s leading provider of financial services to institutional investors, State Street, required Verrex to deploy 25 presentation rooms, 30 videoconferencing suites, four large trading floor systems, a 300-seat multipurpose room, a dozen executive offices, several dining and public display areas, a video wall and a building wide e-Control system.

CHALLENGES
With multiple rooms and floors in various stages of construction, Verrex had to creatively manage multiple teams and build, install, debug and commission dozens of systems concurrently. Meeting State Street’s objectives of time-critical deployment, stable operation of systems and completion within budget was critical.

SOLUTION
Verrex began with a detailed implementation plan and schedule, with a full understanding of State Street’s priorities and needs. Ongoing and constructive communication between field project managers and engineers and dynamically adjusting to changes in field conditions and schedules allowed Verrex to stay on target with all delivery schedules.
