With close to 29,000 attendees at the RAI in Amsterdam, ISE played host to a number of stunning AV technology debuts. Christie MicroTiles
Why We Like It: Christie's self-proclaimed "New Digital Canvas" is exactly that. Superior image quality combined with modular flexibility - MicroTiles can be configured in any shape and size - make this an ideal solution for large applications such as video walls. We're told by Christie there's no (practical) limit to the number of tiles that can be used in a display, so you can get creative and go big with your applications. We were equally impressed by the brightness and quality of the images. Plus, corporate branders will be thrilled by the color reproduction capability: when you need a specific color, you get that color.

MultiTouch Box
Why We Like It: Just like the no nonsense name says, the MultiTouch Box allows multiple users to interact with the display at once; the software tracks the user's hands instead of just points of contact, so its ideal for tag team or group presentations. Boxes can be chained together to build a single, seamless display of any size. We also liked the flexibility in this solution: can be used with rear or front projector technology and single or multi projector installations.

Why We Like It: Crestron adds one of the sleekest, most versatile touch panel displays to the market with its new V-Panel series. Barco RLM-W6 Three-Chip Projector
Why We Like It: Barco's newest projector for mid-venue applications had us seeing green: the RLM-W6 consumes 33% less power than comparable projectors. Those are some superb green credentials. Another comparison the RLM-W6 comes out on top on: its near-silent noise level is a significant improvement over other three-chip DLP projectors. Performance-wise we were equally impressed by the WUXGA (1920x1200) resolution and resulting image quality.

NEC Projector Stacking Solution
Why We Like It: A very unique installation projector solution from NEC delivering brightness of up to 20,000 ANSI Lumen with the benefit of built-in redundancy. NEC's stacking solution involves placing up to four projectors - NP1250, NP2250, NP3250, NP3250W - horizontally in one application so brightness can be multiplied. We also liked the Stacking Correction software, which allows end-users to achieve perfect set up.

Why We Like It: Not everything has to be complicated. This 2-way switcher by UK-based CYP is a simple, effective HDMI solution for smaller applications such as a single HD display meeting room. Supports full range of resolutions from VGA up to 1080p along with High Definition audio.
