Position Overview
Engage prospective Verrex clients in target markets, introduce corporate capabilities, and perform initial discovery of needs that Verrex products and services can meet with emphasis on enterprise-level impact. Establish a dialogue with key buying influences and decision-makers, then identify specific opportunities. Introduce assigned Verrex Sales Account Executive and assure smooth transition of account to sales. Collaborate with Account Executive as necessary to secure the relationship, then disengage.

Responsibilities
  • Think and act globally in all Verrex efforts, actively supporting all Verrex locations and staff in business development.
  • Identify target accounts in assigned markets.
  • Identify influencers and decision-maker within targeted accounts and introduce Verrex capabilities.
  • Assess compatibility of purchasing patterns with Verrex value proposition to greatest extent possible.
  • Position Verrex as high value, full-service, global provider.
  • Aggressively follow up leads provided through marketing initiatives or other sources.
  • Actively support and participate in Verrex marketing events as required, including trade shows, open houses, or other special events.
  • Project positive and professional image of Verrex in all encounters.
  • Identify and investigate appropriate networking opportunities and organizations, joining those that are judged to be worthwhile, and actively participate in their programs and events.
  • Assist with development, review, and execution of department or individual plans for business development initiatives.
  • Recommend marketing campaigns or programs that would advance business development or sales objectives.
  • Employ marketing tools such as e-portfolios, capabilities presentations, visits to client sites, Verrex facility tours, strategic engagement of Verrex executives or specialists and others.
  • Learn, use, and maintain SalesLogix CRM and other databases.
  • Attend and actively participate in periodic department meetings.
  • Report activities and performance in complete and timely fashion as required by management
  • Respond energetically to special requests for assistance by Account Executives or others.
  • Report marketing intelligence to management as observed including changes in market conditions, buying patterns, new product opportunities, Verrex performance, client satisfaction, competitive activity or any other relevant information.
  • Recommend changes to sales strategy or tactics as appropriate.
  • Accept special assignments and projects as requested and complete them to the highest quality standards.
  • Travel as needed.
