Objective
Be a valuable team member of Verrex. You will report directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer. The Director of GMS will manage the services delivery team (both professional services and infrastructure support) and will lead the company’s efforts to sell managed services by working with finance, sales and marketing to bring the services to market. The Director will provide guidance towards the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with the Company’s vision and core values.
Position Overview
Responsible for Global Managed Services and the business unit’s P&L. Work with the President & Chief Executive Officer, Executive Vice President & CFO, Executive Vice President of Sales, and Marketing Manager of Verrex.
Responsibilities
Work closely with the Verrex senior management team in the development and implementation of a Global Managed Service Department.
Responsible for the identification, positioning, and sale of strategic services positioned around enterprise outsourcing, global services help desk outsourcing, enterprise implementation, depot services, disaster recovery and software/hardware implementation.
Understand the impact of services on commercial client's business and mine trends within the professional services market to drive long term strategy.
Manage the services portfolio, which would include asset management, desk side support, disposals, hardware support, helpdesk, hosting, managed bandwidth, remote monitoring, software support, service management and managed security.
Supervise Managed Services projects including preparation of business cases and project definitions.
The Director will be closely aligned with geography sales and marketing in driving portfolio performance and conducting market management activities from market analysis through sales and implementation.
