AV Technician

Relevant Work Experience: 2 to 5+ Years


Responsibilities:

Read schematic diagrams and design drawings.

Install cabling and equipment/systems.

Troubleshoot and service client equipment/systems.

Perform operational maintenance and maintain supporting records.

Perform diagnostic testing to identify and eliminate potential problems.

Complete time sheets, service tickets and quality control reports.

Take direction from Project Managers and Operations Managers.

Qualifications:

Be familiar with all audiovisual cables, switchers, routers and connectors.

Have soldering experience.

Be familiar with Crestron, AMX, ClearOne, Extron, Polycom and Tandberg equipment.

Be familiar with LCD, DLP projectors, plasma and LCD displays.

Possess basic knowledge of Windows/MS Office suite.

2 to 5 years experience in audiovisual industry; CTS certification preferred.

Valid driver’s license.
