How do you fit thousands of products into a tight space and still have room for events? Architectural hardware manufacturer, Hafele, turned to Verrex for the answer.
Verrex was engaged by architecture firm Perkins+Will to provide audio visual design/build services for the Hafele NY flagship store and showroom. Hafele is a high end architectural hardware manufacturer based in Germany with US headquarters in North Carolina.
Perkins+Will was leading the interior design for the
multifunctional showroom and office space located on 22nd street between 5th and 6th Ave. in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood among many other architectural suppliers and design showrooms. Hafele needed to stand
out from its competitors and make a big statement
among the dozens of other high end showrooms in the neighborhood.
The scarcity and expense of Manhattan real estate,
Hafele’s extensive product catalog precluding the ability to physically display all of their products, and the need for the showroom to serve as a multifunctional event space drove the creative design of this project.
